Sweet newborn

Finding a photographer in Eastbourne

If you’re pregnant, and browsing the internet looking for a photographer in Eastbourne to photograph your baby once they arrive, there are so many things to consider. Let me help!

The first question you need to ask – what style are you looking for?

Would you link the more posed style of newborn photography? Lots or props and colour? Look for a photographer who has vast experience in Newborn Safety Posing, check their portfolio and social media pages for their most current and up to date work. There are some amazing photographers out there.

Over the years, my style has taken a more natural look, less posing, and has a very baby-led approach. If you look at my Instagram and Facebook page, you will see I have a very distinct style. Pure, minimal and simple. Go with a photographer whose style makes your heart sing!

Would you like to travel to a studio, or have a photographer come to your home?

This one has benefits to both. If you don’t feel ready to leave the house, have transport barriers or just want someone to turn up, a mobile photographer will bring all their kit to you! This really does suit some people.

Before I had my own studio, I used to be mobile and travel to clients homes. Once I started to specialise in Newborn Photography, I quickly realised having my own studio space would be so much easier. I can control the light, the temperature, store everything I need in one place etc. I love welcoming clients in, and making them feel at home. I am actually based in a little village called East Hoathly, so although I am not a photographer in Eastbourne, I am only 30 minutes away, and have lots of people travel to see me from Eastbourne and surrounding areas! (there’s a gorgeous pub called The Kings Head just a few doors down that do a great Sunday lunch!).

If you want to have a closer look at my newborn photography work, have a look here, or feel free to get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
